Rose Coconut Ladoo


Rose flavored Coconut ladoo is a classic Asian delicacy that is prepared with fresh or dried coconut, rose syrup, and sugar. Making this dish only takes ten minutes! You can serve them during any festive event! These festive treats are gorgeous to look at and make fabulous gifts for the holidays.

  • 1 ½ cup shredded fresh or dried coconut
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 1 ½ tbsp rose water
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • pinch of red food color
  • ghee (for greasing)
  • rose petals (for garnishing)


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup coconut, condensed milk, rose syrup, and cardamom powder. And mix until everything comes together.
  2. Grease your hands with some ghee, then scoop out a little amount of the mixture mentioned above and roll it between your palms to form balls.
  3. Sprinkle some coconut and rose petals on a tray. Roll the balls in the coconut mixture balls to coat them.
  4. They don’t require refrigeration. The coconut laddus are ready to be served.
