What is Devdaru?

Literal translation of Devdaru or Deodar in English is “Wood of Gods”. This herb has amazing properties that are useful in treating neurological disorders. Deodar oil has anti-inflammatory properties and is used in curing arthritis and treating headaches. This herb is also useful in treating skin diseases, fever, asthma, pruritus (uncomfortable itching sensation). It promotes healthy balance in doshas by curing vata doshas like constipation, bloating, paralysis etc. Oral intake in combination with external application of Devdaru paste is found to treat syphilis.

What is Dhataki?

Dhataki or Dhawai has Astringent and Analgesic properties and is commonly used in Ayurveda to treat women’s menstrual problems like menorrhagia and leucorrhea. It is also known to boost fertility, treat diarrhea, and cure erysipelas (a bacterial infection that causes red rashes on the skin).
